For over 127 years, Catholic schools have made a world of difference in the lives of some of this region's most caring and curious young people. Our rich history--a tradition of schools dedicated to academic, social, and spiritual excellence has provided us a very solid foundation to prepare students for a promising future. Our schools emphasize the teaching of basic skills, critical thinking and problem solving within the context of our Catholic teachings. Our diocese spans 10 counties in Minnesota for a total area of 22,354 square miles. Our twelve Catholic schools have a student enrollment of 1,681. Seven of our schools are pre-k through sixth grade; two schools are pre-k through fifth grade; two schools are pre-k to eighth grade, and one school has kindergarten through eighth grade. There are no Catholic high schools in the Diocese of Duluth. (Please refer to our directory for a complete listing of our schools.)
