Women’s Mornings of Reflections
The Handmaids of the Heart of Jesus will be hosting women’s Mornings of Reflection Saturdays, Sept. 9, Sept. 30, Nov. 4, and Dec. 2, from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Rosary, 2801 E. Book and puzzle sale

Christ the King Retreat Center in Buffalo will host silent women’s retreats Sept. 8-10, Sept. 19-21, and Sept. 26-28. Theology Uncapped
Theology Uncapped presents a series of theological discussions reviewing both the Catholic and Greek Orthodox perspective. The next event will be Thursday, Sept. 14, at 6 p.m. and will feature Father Nick Nelson and Father Dustin Lyon discussing the topic “Why Aren’t We One? Friends of the Poor walk
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is hosting its annual Friends of the Poor walk Saturday, Sept. 15. Registration is at the St. Francis School parking lot, 817 Juniper St., Brainerd, between 8:30 a.m. and 9 a.m. Bring your pets and enjoy a walk around Gregory Park. 40 Days for Life kickoff
40 Days for Life will hold its kickoff event Tuesday, Sept. 26, at 6 p.m., beginning with Mass celebrated by Bishop Felton at the Women’s Care Center, 103 E. First St., Duluth, followed by light refreshments. At 7 p.m., the event continues with a praise and worship service outside, across from the Building for Women. Visio Divina

Open house

Spaghetti dinner
All are invited to enjoy a spaghetti dinner at St. Mary Star of the Sea Church, 325 E. Third St., Duluth on Saturday, Sept. 30, from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The dinner will feature spaghetti in meat sauce, salad, breadsticks, dessert, and beverage. Gluten-free and vegetarian options are available, as well as take-out. Children ages ten through adults are $12, children ages six to nine are $6, and children under six are free. The social hall is accessible for wheelchairs up to 33 inches wide, and there is plenty of parking.
Grief group
The Cathedral of Our Lady of the Rosary, 2801 E. Fourth St., Duluth, will be offering a five-week educational/support grief group for any adult who has experienced the death of a loved one. The group will meet for five consecutive Tuesdays, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., beginning Oct. 3, and continuing Oct. 10, Oct. 17, Oct. 24, and Oct. 31. Donut Sunday
St. Isidore’s Council of Catholic Women will be hosting Donut Sundays at St. Isidore Church, 9010 Main Street, Sturgeon Lake, on Sept. 30, Oct. 29, and Nov. 26 after 8:30 a.m. Sunday Mass. All are welcome for donuts, beverages, and fellowship. Free will offering appreciated but not necessary.

Fall festival
Queen of Peace Church, 102 Fourth St., Cloquet, will be hosting its fall festival Oct. 14-15. On Saturday, Oct. 14, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., there will be a kids’ zone with inflatables, cash, and small items raffle, lunch in the cafeteria, food trucks, and a marketplace. Public square rosary rally
A public square rosary rally, sponsored by America Needs Fatima, will take place in Duluth on Saturday, Oct. 14, at noon at the southwest corner of Sixth Avenue East and Fourth Street. This event will be one of over 20,000 rallies that will take place across the United States on this same day. Please join in the hour-long prayer rally to offer reparation for the sins and offenses committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary and to fervently pray for the conversion of the United States. Chicken dinner and bake sale
St. Rose Church, 2 Sixth Ave., Proctor, will hold a chicken dinner and bake sale on Sunday, Oct. 15, from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. The menu includes a choice of white or dark meat chicken, mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans, coleslaw, rolls, cranberry sauce, and banana cream pie for dessert. Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 227 Third St., Two Harbors, will hold its fall bazaar Saturday, Oct. 14, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will feature local vendors, crafts, pasties, and a bake sale. Adoration and Divine Mercy Chaplet
Every Friday, immediately after the noon Mass at St. Mary Star of the Sea, 325 E. Third St., Duluth, there is exposition of the Blessed Sacrament with adoration until 3 p.m. At 3 p.m. the Chaplet of Divine Mercy is recited, followed by Benediction.
