TOBIT

Join us for a weekend retreat as we delve deep into Pope St. John Paul II's teaching on Theology of the Body. We will delve into some of the deepest questions of human existence, including:

• What is the meaning of Life?
• Why did God create us male and female?
• What kind of joys await us in heaven?
• Why is there evil and how do we overcome it?
• How do we experience the love we long for?

Mass - Talks - Adoration - Praise & Worship - Confession - Games - Sledding - Bonfire - Friends - Small Groups!

Who should attend?

TOBIT is open to high school students in grades 9-12 who reside within the boundaries of the Diocese of Duluth.

This retreat does not fulfill the requirements of a Confirmation retreat. 

 

There is something new to learn and be heard when it comes to Theology of the Body and we want to see you back! 
 

October 19, 2023: Registration Opened

Registration for TOBIT opened online at 10:00 AM CST. 

To Register:

1. Registration for students in grades 9-12 is available by clicking here.
2. Fill in all of the required information, including electronic signatures and permission slips.
3. When you register, you will make a password. Please remember this password and the email address you used to register so you are able to log back in to check your balance, make payments, and register for future diocesan events.
4. Note - you will receive a confirmation e-mail from Active.com once you have hit submit and completed the online registration process.  If you do not receive a confirmation e-mail you are not registered.  Please contact Annette at [email protected] if you have questions.

When registering for this event parents will need the following information:

1. Health History and Insurance Information
2. Known food allergies
3. Emergency Contact Information
4. Coupon codes from the parish office (if applicable)
5. Ability to pay $50 deposit online or by mailing a check to the Diocese of Duluth.

December 1, 2023: Early Bird Rate Ends

There will be a $10 increase in the price of the registration fee for all registrations received after this date.

December 22, 2023: Registration Deadline & Deposit Due

This is the last day to register for TOBIT.  Any rooming requests must be made by this date.

January 6, 2024: Final Payment Due

Youth Ministers
If you are serving as a Youth Minister and/or Director of Religious Education in the Diocese of Duluth and are bringing students, registration is available by clicking here.

Adult staff and chaperones
We may need additional staffing needs beyond the youth ministers.  If there are additional adults from your parish that would like to attend TOBIT as small group leaders, they must be approved by the Department of Youth & Young Adult Ministry before registering.
