Who can apply?

We welcome applications from anyone age 18 and older. Applicants must have an authentic, dynamic Catholic faith and be actively living the teachings of the Catholic Church. We prefer one year of college/work, but are willing to consider mature high school graduates. No major or area of study is required. This is a great summer job experience for anyone who wants to work in ministry, education, or with children in other settings. 

Pay, housing, meals, and travel

Teachers will be paid a stipend of $3500 for serving with our program for nine weeks.  Of that, you start with a week of training, serve three weeks in parishes, have a week off for Independence Day (2025: June 28-July 4 off; arrive at your next parish the afternoon of July 5), serve two weeks in parishes, attend a weekend of training for Camp Survive, and serve two weeks at Camp Survive, our middle school camp.  Housing and meals will be provided, as teams stay with host families who will also provide meals. Each team will provide their own transportation through the generosity of a team member (mileage will be reimbursed.)

As a parish you are responsible for: 

• Providing lodging for the team members from when they arrive Saturday night until they leave the following Saturday.
• Providing meals for the team members. 
• Promoting, recruiting, and handling parish registration. 

A registration form will be sent out in February 2025 for the upcoming summer. If you have not hosted a team in the past and are interested in hosting one in 2026, please email Annette at [email protected] by November 2025.
